Donate at your local Food Pantries

Bayonne has eleven food pantries that I know of. These pantries are all in contact with one another through a group they call a coalition. They communicate and cooperate in order to better serve those local residents who are hungry and need food. In addition, there are organizations that will collect food donations and distribute them to the local food pantries. Check these listings for the Food Pantry or Food Donation Site nearest to you, and donate as you are able.

Preferred Donations Include:

Tuna , Soup, Macaroni, Sauce, Canned Meats, Rice ,Vegetables-including canned or dried Potatoes, Juice, Tea, Coffee, Cereal, Canned-Jarred Fruit, Baby Food, Formula, Pancake Mix, Condiments, Peanut- Butter, Jelly, Crackers, Oatmeal

Suggested Non-Food Donations Include:

Soap, Shampoo, Toilet Paper, Pampers, Baby Wipes, Paper Towels Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Cleaning Supplies, Laundry Detergent

Suppliers that don't operate Food Pantries, but they will accept donations and distribute them to the Food Pantries.
